ABOUT
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and relational systems navigating trauma, PTSD, grief, life transitions, intimacy challenges, and spirituality. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves or others, or struggling to move forward after painful experiences or significant life changes.
This can look like:
Feeling emotionally shut down, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge
Difficulty trusting your partner or rebuilding trust after infidelity
Hypervigilance, irritability, anger, or emotional numbness
Feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, or your relationships
Trouble relaxing, sleeping, or feeling emotionally safe
Loss of intimacy, desire, or emotional closeness after trauma or betrayal
Difficulty being physically vulnerable or emotionally present with a partner
Avoiding touch, affection, or sex because it no longer feels emotionally safe
I approach trauma holistically, recognizing that trauma doesn’t only live in thoughts or memories, it can also show up in the body, relationships, emotions, sleep, sexuality, and day-to-day functioning. My work focuses on emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and rebuilding trust. As a veteran myself, I understand the unique pressures that can come with service, high-responsibility roles, and environments where vulnerability may not always feel safe. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe exploring both emotional and relational I am fluent in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences.
Outside of therapy, I’m a wife and mom who deeply values connection, presence, and creating a life rooted in balance and intention. I was born and raised in Colombia, and my cultural background continues to shape the way I view relationships, healing, family, and community. I find joy in the simple and meaningful moments. I love coffee, traveling, practicing Pilates, spending time in nature, and making memories with the people I love.
